Victorian Arts Centre banner - Acrobats of China

artcentre10anniversary

The Yunnan acrobats at the State theatre was one of the earliest banners I painted. This shows the size of the work, the banner being 10.7 metres high and 6 metres wide.

The heavy vinyl banner is laid out flat on a floor, cleaned, marked out (variation of grid method) and painted in acrylics.
