Business description

GoldReverre is Bruce Jackson's glass gilding business. Having made a speciality of gilding from his background in signwriting, he formed the business specifically to develop the use of gilding and reverse painting on glass for architectural and decorative products.

Glass gilding is a niche art with only a small number of practitioners. Being a labor-intensive process with every piece individually hand-made it is fairly expensive. Public awareness of glass gilding is fairly low, even amongst design professionals, however we are experiencing increased interest and a growing demand for our work.

The range of suitable applications make it an art with exciting new possibilities in interior design and architecture. With the exposure available through the Internet, our work, especially the table tops, are now starting to find markets around the world with several pieces now in USA and Canada.

Warrandyte is the site of the first gold discovery in Victoria in 1851 and is an area rich in history and natural beauty. It is approx 25km NE of Melbourne city centre.
