Discussion and designing

If you like to discuss getting a piece made, contact us. Even if you don't know what you want at this stage, don't worry; it's only a conversation to start with. After some discussion about your desires we'll be able to come up with an initial design proposal and an indicative price.

In designing something, it helps us to find out which pieces you like and also what it is about them in particular that appeals.

Once we've established the criteria and design to your satisfaction, we can make a small sample if required. Photos don't show the metallic effect properly and a sample gives you the opportunity to see exactly what you'll get including edge profiles. We have to charge for the sample but we'll refund the price if you go ahead with the commission.

Ordering

The next stage will require some detailed specifications. Take a look at the specification checklist to make sure you know what we'll need in order to get it right first time. Remember toughened glass can't be re-cut, so the size and position of any holes must be correct.

We'll also need a deposit of 50% to process an order. We require a deposit because each piece is custom-made to your specifications.

Payment

Payment can be by cash, cheque or by direct deposit to our account. Sorry, we don't accept payment by credit card.

Direct deposit seems to be the easiest method for overseas commissions. We'll send you all the information required to do this from your own bank.

If you would like to inspect the work before making full payment, we'll arrange a time and date for inspection prior to delivery and installation.

We require full payment before any piece is shipped overseas unless otherwise arranged.

Shipping

Yes, we can deliver it right to your door. Firstly, we'll inform you of the shipping cost along with the quotation you will get at the design phase.

For large pieces, we use Pack and Send in South Yarra. They make the crate to suit the piece, arrange the insurance and freight with a courier who will deliver to your door. We provide detailed information for customs and the piece can be tracked through all stages through the Internet.

There is no customs duty for original artworks going into USA.

Shipping generally takes between one and two weeks.
