Boyd's Old Irish Whisky

The design is based on an original poster and is slightly modified in layout. This is a good example of how beautiful advertising art can be, and how well it adapts to reverse glass painting. While not strictly a pub mirror, it is breweriana at its most beautiful.

It includes a poem of the Pride of Erin and scenes from Glenariff, county Antrim.

Reverse painted with details in 23ct gold, and copper leaf letter outline. Some areas are layered glazes with 23ct background.

900mm x 1300mm
Commissioned for Finbars Irish Pub in Brighton, Melbourne
