Sposabella

Sposabella is a restaurant/bar in Lonsdale Street, Melbourne. This window is 4 metres high.

The color centre is done using marbling techniques with some drifts of 23 carat gold. I used layering of color glazes, broken up with splashes of solvent. There's also a fair bit of variegated leaf under the colors giving it a metallic opal-like effect

Lettering is a 4 way prismatic in 12 carat and 23 carat, both in bright and matt finishes. The outline of the oval is two fine lines of matt 23 ct with a centre of 23 carat with an ink patina (Pigmented Ink in the water size).
