GoldReverre is the glass gilding studio of Bruce Jackson. The studio produces original artworks painted under glass using gold leaf combined with reverse painting techniques.

The range of applications includes tabletops, signs and glass panels for architectural uses as feature walls, kitchen splashbacks, screens and decorative surfaces.

Interior design inquiries are welcome. Every commission is treated individually and results in an original artwork, made in our studio in Melbourne, Australia and shipped internationally.

Glass gilding, also called verre églomisé, it is a rare art with a long history as far back as the Ptolemaic era in Egypt and the Roman empire.

Gold leaf and other metal foils under glass provide a reflectivity and beauty unseen in other artforms. It has been used in ancient religious pieces, furniture, glassware, jewellery, window signwriting and modern day artworks.
